I recently got to take brand photos for a plastic surgeon in Nashville, TN. Kate O’Connor is the face behind Harmony Facial Plastic Surgery, specializing in both surgical and non-surgical procedures that bring aesthetic balance. The world of plastic surgery can be overwhelming, but Dr. O’Connell and her team take a balanced approach to help you reach your goals holistically. When approaching me for her plastic surgeon brand photos, Dr. O’Connor wanted to be sure we go beyond the typical imagery you might see at any plastic surgeon’s office. Her approach is more holistic, conversational, and natural, so she wanted her photos to reflect these things. Educating her clients is a major component to her business, so we needed to include some photos that she could use for blog articles, email newsletters, or social media posts that would focus on education.

We also needed to include some headshots of her and her team, as well as some photos specific to Nashville, since this is where she practices! 

 

Music Row Nashville Personal Branding Photoshoot

We used two different locations for the plastic surgeon branding photoshoot: The Harmony Surgery office and the rooftop of the Virgin Hotel. 

We tackled a lot of the action shots, like mock surgeries, consultations, and office work at the Harmony Surgery offices. The interior of the office is light, bright, and clean, while the outside of the office features a light brick facade surrounded by beautiful greenery. The plastic surgeon’s office is located right on Music Row, a Nashville staple nestled in the Edgehill neighborhood filled with nearby cafes and music recording studios. 

Next we headed to the Virgin Hotel, located just off Music Row in Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood. The Virgin hotel is stunning, filled with vibrant colors, velvety textured furniture, and to top it all off: A killer view of the Nashville skyline from its rooftop pool deck. Here, we grabbed some more casual photos of the team and Nashville-centric headshots. Featuring your city in your brand photos helps you establish local connections and build trust with your future clients even before you ever meet them in person! 

 

Nashville Plastic Surgeon Brand Photoshoot Results

I’m thrilled with how Kate’s plastic surgeon brand photos turned out. While the two locations we used couldn’t be more different, the marriage between them is, well, harmonious. There are a few reasons for this: The first is research – Kate and her team knew what they wanted to capture, and how they wanted their photos to look and feel, so we worked together to build a plan around that. The second reason Harmony Surgery’s photos look so amazing is Kate’s understanding of her brand and her ability to wear it (literally) on her sleeve. Kate’s brand is clean, timeless, chic, and soft. Her and her team stuck to a color palette of blues, whites, ivories, pinks and beige for their outfits, which fit in well in both their office setting and a high-end hotel.
