Shira is a local Nashville lifestyle blogger, interior decorator and designer who has amazing taste in just about every aspect of her life. She’s creating a new way for clients to experience home design services by specializing in web-based interior decorating services. We planned her in-home brand photoshoot for her Nashville interior decorator business in July of 2020 and the results were absolutely stunning!

NASHVILLE INTERIOR DECORATOR BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY GOALS

Shira’s process and services are unique, so it’s important to really show off who Shira is in this photo shoot. We want to capture her home style, her home office, and her design process. At the end of the day, Shira wants her photos to inspire past present and future clients. 

 

PERSONAL BRANDING PHOTOSHOOT PROCESS

Since Shira is creating a lifestyle brand as an interior designer, it was important to capture her personal style at home. We started by getting lots of photos of her home: the living room, entryway, dining room, patio, kitchen and bedrooms. With deep greens and blue hues and lots of textures, Shira’s home was harmonious and layered. Though the rooms are beautiful, Shira is still the star of the show, so we put her in front of the camera to get some action shots: watering plants, tidying up, folding techniques, and preparing food. These photos can be used in blogs or social media to educate her audience about her services and tips. 

Since this is one of Shira’s first branding photoshoots, it was important to get some formal headshots. While we strive for variety in your Nashville brand photography session, a few good headshots are necessary – you’d be surprised how often you need one! 

Finally, we wanted to get proof of Shira’s day-to-day life by bringing her husband in for a few shots and lots of different shots of Shira working from home.

I love Shira’s color palette, so I really adored how her photos turned out. She walked away with a great base of brand photos to use to launch her business and fill out her website. However, as a designer, Shira understands the importance of getting fresh photos as trends change and new projects come up, so I’m already counting down until our next session!
