One of my realtor clients, Julie, introduced me to Coralee last year. I had done Julie’s branding session and Coralee was helping design Julie’s website. When Coralee saw the gallery of images Julie had to work with, she knew she wanted her own branding session too!

Coralee immediately signed on for my annual branding package – an option that allows for 4 personal branding sessions per year! She was transitioning out of a Hollywood career as a producer. As she was getting ready to launch a personal brand and a new product (Doodle Different), she needed brand imagery to promote her various offerings!

 

Session Goals

Coralee’s main focus for her personal branding session was to capture product images and brand photos to promote during her launch. She was getting ready to sell Doodle Different, a book that celebrates creativity, and she needed pictures for her website, social media accounts, and shopify!

 

Personal Branding Process

We had an impressive shot list for this session. From curated flatlays to simple product photos, and lifestyle images to headshots… Coralee knew she needed a good variety of content to successfully promote her launch. We started this branding session at Coralee’s home in Nashville. We used her living room area, kitchen, desk space, and outside to create different settings and variety in her images. Coralee was also able to create variety with quick outfit changes! We shot 5 outfits total and a lot of props!

We started with flatlays and lifestyle content! Coralee doodled in her Doodle Different book on the couch and at her desk. We also showed fun behind the scenes of production by capturing pictures of Coralee with a box full of Doodle Different books to ship out!

We then captured Coralee in her kitchen and at the table. These pictures are really relaxed and fun, and are a great way to show off her personality. Some of the props she used in her branding session are books, her coffee mug, pencils and art supplies, instruments, and even some statement pieces from her mom’s closet!

 

The Results

I love how fun, colorful, and creative Coralee’s first round of branding pictures turned out! Since we took them at her home, they have an extra touch of uniqueness and personality! You can see how Coralee’s been using her branding photos on her Doodle website, personal website, and on her Instagram!
