I’ve worked with many Nashville therapist teams for their brand photography, and I love how these photoshoots can uniquely reflect each practice. Brand Photography Goals For Therapy Practice

With service-based businesses, it’s important to think about the emotions you want your photos to evoke as well as how you plan to use them to spark conversations or connect them back to your business. Even though the Empowered Heart team spends most days at their Nashville office in client sessions, they were looking for therapist brand photos that showed more than just a therapy session.

We wanted the photos to evoke a sense of calm, relaxation, safety, authenticity and professionalism. We wanted potential therapy clients to feel welcomed and hopeful when looking at these photos on Kendra’s website or social media pages and to foster credibility and trust with them.  

 

Planning An In-Office Brand Photoshoot With A Nashville Therapy Practice

Part of developing credibility and trust comes from including headshots of the team to include with their bios on the Empowered Heart website, so potential clients could research the best fit to partner with if they so desire. 

We utilized two locations during this photoshoot in order to capture images that portrayed day-to-day business processes AND the things that bring inspiration to Kendra’s team. 

We started the day grabbing therapist brand photos in the Empowered Heart office in Nashville. Here, our shot list included a group team photo, pictures of their beautiful office space, an example of a client meeting, tools used to help their clients (suggested supplements, aromatherapy, Brainspotting tools, etc.), and some behind the scenes moments. 

Next, we headed outside to Radnor Lake State Park to photograph places that bring Kendra’s team inspiration. We also got detail shots that they can use in a multitude of ways… Like portraying self-care for the team or techniques for grounding and other ways nature can be healing.

Once I met Kendra and her team in person, I could tell this photoshoot was going to be even more vibrant than I originally planned! Her team radiated passion, joy, and color. Which made it easy to capture the essence of her business! I was pleased that we got to showcase many of the team’s tools, supplements, and techniques they use so that they will easily be able to add these to a blog post, web page, or social media post that can educate their future clients and connect with other therapists. Taking the photoshoot outside allowed us to capture even more content showcasing not only the healing properties of nature, but also providing Kendra an opportunity to connect online with other locals who also frequent this park. 

As the cherry on top, I was overjoyed to be able to snag some time with their office therapy dog! 

To get Kendra started with using her brand photos, I created a sample grid of 9 photos along with social media caption prompts for therapists and mental health professionals. I love helping my Nashville brand photography clients see how to use their new brand photos to create quality content.
