Kayo Conference sets out to build a community that supports, elevates, and champions women in business and leadership. They do this through industry events and conferences where professional women can connect with leaders and advance their careers. Of course, this was something I loved being a small part of.

Finding the right photographer for the Kayo Leadership Conference Event Photos in Nashville

Lauren from Kayo wanted an event photographer to capture the intimate and fun nature within the professional conference setting. She planned on using the photos for social media and their website. They frequently plan and promote business events, so they needed high quality pictures to promote the next conference.

We worked together before the leadership event to create a plan to get the right photos for their marketing needs. By mixing candid, lifestyle and posed photos, I was able to capture pictures that showcased the event from beginning to end. It was a top priority to get photos of individual conference attendees learning and networking, as well as group shots of event goers. Showing excited and happy participants was a big way that we spotlighted the best moments of the leadership event.

Part of that planning process was creating a photography schedule for the event. By building and sharing this schedule with Lauren, she knew exactly where I would be and what I would be looking for at each stage of the conference. Freeing her to run the event with confidence, knowing I would capture the moments that mattered most.

Noelle Hotel Event Photos for Women Business Conference

Another valuable part of capturing the Kayo Conference was that it took place at The Noelle Hotel in Nashville, TN. A venue I have a lot of experience with. Being a Nashville-based brand photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of shooting in this great hotel many times.

Having a photographer who knows the venue doesn’t just mean they know the layout and how to get around. But it means they know how the lighting will be throughout the day. They also know where and when to look for the best shots to promote your event. My favorite thing about the Noelle is the gorgeous ballroom and how much natural light that room has. It’s a dream for event photos!

The gorgeous conference venue, event photography shot list, and shared schedule allowed us to have a successful project together. The Nashville event photos truly captured the results of Lauren and the Kayo team’s hard work, and highlights the business conference for future attendees.
