Derek and Alyssa planned a navy and chianti wedding at Stones River Country Club in Murfreesboro, TN! Every detail of their wedding day was perfect… And my favorite getting ready details included the bridesmaids in their floral robes and Alyssa and her mom’s matching shoes!
The Shaw’s got married on the front lawn of Stones River Country Club. The ceremony site was beautifully decorated with an arch with blush and coral flowers. One of Alyssa’s friends serenaded as the bridal party made their way down the aisle. Then the ring bearer and flower girl stole the show when the ring bearer ran off on his own. Everybody thought he was hysterical!
Derek and Alyssa chose to not share a first look before the ceremony. As Alyssa walked to the aisle with her dad, Derek’s best man kept reminding Derek to look down and not to look her way yet. It was sweet to see Derek’s reaction when he finally saw her walking towards him.
After the ceremony we jumped right into wedding portraits. I love the wedding party pictures of the navy suits and chianti dresses! The color palette for this Murfreesboro wedding was perfect! The couple and I rode golf carts to a little bridge on the golf course at Stones River Country Club. This was the perfect spot for bride and groom portraits! When we wrapped up with wedding pictures, the reception started!
I loved the simple and elegant reception décor! Each table displayed candles and greenery! And there was a gorgeous 3-tier wedding cake with real flower details. The bride and groom planned a traditional wedding reception. After they were introduced, they shared first dances and had toasts. It then didn’t take long before everyone joined them on the dance floor! The fun night came to a close with a cake cutting and the garter and bouquet toss.
