5 Unique Nashville Bachelorette Party Ideas

February 5, 2020

Listen, I know you don’t want your bachelorette party to be just another night out. You want an epic adventure, and your girl squad wants the same! That’s why it’s time to mix it up and try one of the 5 unique Nashville bachelorette party ideas I’ve curated specifically for you. There’s something here for every style, vibe, and personality!

Redneck Yacht Club

Don’t get it wrong, Nashville has plenty of high-class eateries and urban charm. But if your idea of a perfect weekend involves boating, soaking up some sun, and partying on the water, then the redneck yacht club option is made for you.

Grab your girls and hit one of Nashville’s two best lakes. Old Hickory Lake and Percy Priest Lake are both accessible within minutes of downtown. You can rent a pontoon boat (complete with a slide) and cruise the water while enjoying a White Claw or two. During summer months, I can almost guarantee that you’ll run into at least one bachelor party along the way.

Model Behavior

Is there a better activity for a glamorous girls’ weekend than a private, customized photo shoot? As bride-to-be, you naturally get to take center stage, but your squad will love the attention as well. Plan to coordinate or mix it up, either way, you’ll have a blast touring around the city like celebrities.

At Mandy Liz Photography, I love to orchestrate these custom shoots according to your taste. One of the most popular options is a mural photo shoot tour through the 12 South neighborhood! If this sounds like your cup of tea, connect with me and we’ll plan the perfect shoot for you and your girls. I can’t promise anything, but there’s a decent chance someone asks for your autograph along the way.

Around the World Food Tour

If you’re a serious foodie, your perfect weekend should definitely include some of Nashville’s best eats! Take your girls on a custom food tour and travel the globe—no passport required.

Start your morning in Europe with brunch at Marché in East Nashville. The elegantly rustic interior and fresh, seasonal brunch menu will have you feeling Continental in no time. The menu changes regularly, but if there are specialty croissants on offer, don’t pass them up! Pro tip: this place is packed on the weekends, but you can skip the line with ease by using Yelp’s waitlist.

When you’re ready for lunch, jet on over to Mexico. I’ve got two choices for you, depending on your crowd’s vibe. If you’re looking for the absolute best Mexican food in Nashville, then pull on up to Mas Tacos Por Favor. The elote is to die for and the chicken tortilla soup is heaven in a bowl. This joint is cash only and lacks any kind of ambiance (or many seats), so be prepared. If you’re looking for some yummy tacos with a bit more upscale vibe, then Superica is the place for you. The food is decidedly Tex Mex and your besties will love the refreshing margs.

By mid-afternoon, you’re going to be ready for a pick-me-up. That’s when you’ll saunter on over to Italy (actually, I have no idea where they get their coffee, but it’s delicious) for an espresso or coffee drink from Crema. There are a lot of coffee shops in Nashville, but I hear the best pours are at Crema.

It’s finally time for dinner! Enjoy tastes of Japan without the long-haul flight at The Green Pheasant. Most dishes are made to share, and the menu is formatted for ordering in a specific manner: salty, raw, warm, main.

Shop til You Drop

Fashionistas and shopaholics—this is the bachelorette party for you! Nashville isn’t just denim and boots. Plan your perfect day around all the shops and boutiques you love.

I recommend starting at Draper James. With an owner as iconic as Reese Witherspoon, you can rest assured that the clothing and accessories are not to be missed. The southern charm is real, y’all.

To continue the celebrity-directed boutiques, stop in at Uncommon James in the Gulch. Kristin Cavallari has outdone herself here. And you can treat your bridesmaids to this cute tank while you’re there.

You can pop over to H. Audrey, the trendy store owned by Hank Williams Junior’s daughter for luxury goods and a possible celebrity sighting. If you’re looking for something leather, you’ll probably find it here.

Once you’ve browsed and bought something cute, get your hair done at Blowout Co. before heading out for a night on the town!

A Magical Weekend

Mix things up with a night out at House of Cards with your besties. This “secret” bar requires a reservation and has an unexpected entrance. There’s a pretty strict dress code, which can be a fun excuse to break out those cocktail dresses you only get to wear to weddings! Magic is on the menu, with a full magic show (if you make a dinner reservation), or specialty up-close magicians if you’re just enjoying the bar. Grab a drink and pull up at one of the small tables around the cozy room. The magicians travel from table to table and will wow you with their card tricks. It’s honestly unbelievable!
