How do you know your business is ready for a branding session?

In an increasingly digital marketing landscape, we all can acknowledge the importance of imaging. Yet, as small business owners, finding the balance between our business needs, budget, and managing current demands can be a delicate act. Additionally, we pour our heart and soul into our business, making it difficult to be objective.

Below are a few clear indicators that it’s the right time to invest resources into a branding session.

You Dread Attaching A Profile Photo

I’m sure you noticed quite quickly how many places you need to attach a profile photo when setting up your business. Email, cloud storage, LinkedIn, and the list goes on. Whether we like it or not, part of what comes with being a small business owner is being the face of your company. And in the digital world, your face is everywhere. Having a friendly yet professional headshot as part of your imaging repertoire can be a game changer. When it comes to a profile photo, a picture really does say 1000 words, and it’s essential that yours say the right ones about you.

Your Current Imaging Does Not Reflect the Same Excellence of Your Customers Experience

You’ve diligently honed your craft and perfected every detail of the product you create for your client. Yet a visit to your website or socials doesn’t convey the same message. Whether it’s grainy photos or standard stock images, both often carry a lack of professionalism. If this is sounding familiar, then the next right investment in your company is absolutely a branding session.

Curated, high quality, photos are your client’s first introduction to your commitment to excellence.

Potential Clients Consistently Choose Your Competitor

You wouldn’t think that lousy imaging could cause you to lose business, but unfortunately, it’s true. Your online presence is like a digital handshake, and just like people can tell a lot from a handshake, they can also tell a lot from your online presence. If the only substantial difference between you and a competitor is the imaging, chances are your photos are the culprit.

Additionally, believe it or not, a subpar digital handshake can also hurt your SEO and potential clients ability to find you.  SEO can be boiled down to one word: authority. A search engines goal is to provide users with the most relevant and authoritative results for their search. There are several ways to increase your authority, but one of the best is high-quality imaging that affirms your status as an expert in the industry. Upgrade your imaging and promotion in your search ranking will follow.

You Need to Increase Social Media Engagement

Do clients love working with you and sing your praises but aren’t connecting with you on socials? That’s a problem. Social media can either be your greatest enemy or your best friend. Search engines and social media are the leading avenues that new clients find me. Like SEO creating greater engagement on social media is a multi-faceted job, but by far, the best way to increase engagement is by posting captivating and unique images.

By increasing your engagement, you will absolutely draw in new clients and build a community who are invested in your company. Branding sessions provide you with an array of images that are sure to flow with your brand and attract your ideal client. Exceptional imaging will have them slowing their scroll, double tapping, and connecting.

You’re Ready to Level Up Your Business

Whether growth has been slow or taking off like a rocket when you’re ready to take your business to the next level, a fresh set of imaging is precisely what you need. Updated assets are one of the best ways to launch a new service or product and keep your branding innovative.

New imaging will also endow you with a superpower: CONFIDENCE. The consistent feedback I have heard from dozens of business babes is they walk away from our branding sessions with a renewed confidence to tackle the road ahead. I know first hand that being a small business owner is filled with a lot of uncertainties, and it’s easy for doubt to creep in. But having the right imaging is one of the best ways to empower yourself as you chase down your dreams.

Imaging is often a powerful reflection of who we are and the heart behind our business. An exceptional branding session will shine a light on the outstanding aspects of your business.  Building a strong foundation for your continued growth and connecting you to your ideal client.
