Last week I had the sweetest first home photo shoot with Emily and David at their new apartment in Nashville. They scheduled the session for their move in day, so there was a lot of excitement, joy, and packing boxes!

Emily and David have been dating for 8 years, but the majority of their relationship has been long distance. They recently got engaged and moved into their first home together in Nashville, and Emily wanted a photo session to capture their move in day.

We started the session in the living room of their new apartment, and Emily and David were surrounded by packing boxes! The boxes were Emily’s idea, and I think they were the perfect touch for this move in photo shoot!

This whole session melts my heart! My favorite part is that Emily and David decided to include Maggie, their sweet Goldendoodle! Maggie was playful, excited, and cuddly, and I think her personality shines through in the pictures. She also had David and Emily laughing non-stop, which was perfect!
