I met up with Jordan and Anna this past weekend for their Engagement session in Downtown Franklin and Downtown Nashville. They traveled to Nashville from Louisville, KY for their engagement session, and they will be getting married in Nashville at Ravenswood Mansion in the Fall!
I met Anna a few months ago for a wedding photography consultation, but I hadn’t met Jordan yet. I loved seeing them together because they make each other laugh so much! Their smiles are so genuine in all their pictures! My favorite thing about engagement sessions is I get to see how couples interact together before the wedding day. An engagement session is like a “trial run,” and it gives me an idea of what poses will work for my clients, so when their Wedding day comes around, they feel a little more comfortable and confident in front of my camera!
We started our city engagement session in Downtown Franklin, and used some of the brick and textured walls as backdrops. The Downtown Franklin portion of the shoot is casual and relaxed, and we mostly walked around Main Street as I prompted and posed Anna and Jordan for their pictures. We made sure to stop under the iconic Franklin Theatre sign, since that is a unique part of Downtown Franklin.
After we wrapped up in Franklin, we headed to Downtown Nashville to get some classy engagement pictures at War Memorial Auditorium. Anna switched from boots and jeans into heels and a gorgeous navy dress, and her outfit perfectly fit the setting! I love how silly and sweet Anna and Jordan are, and I think the pictures at the War Memorial show that side of them! We finished off at the plaza as the sun was setting with the Nashville Capitol building in the background- PERFECT BACKDROP FOR A KISS!
I cannot wait to shoot Jordan and Anna’s engagement session in the Fall, and these highlights from their Engagement session will show you why!
