I met with Hannah and Tom a few weeks ago for their engagement pictures. I love scheduling engagement sessions with my couples because it gives me a chance to get to know them before I spend the day with them for their wedding.
Hannah and Tom both love the outdoors, so it was fitting to start their session at the Narrows of the Harpeth (Harpeth River State Park)- a bluff north of Nashville that has an incredible view. They love to hike and camp, and Tom actually proposed to Hannah in April while camping together.
We made our way up the trail and took some pictures with the view surrounding the area. The Narrows of the Harpeth also has a small waterfall, so we went down to that location as well. Hannah and Tom both rock climb for fun, so when Hannah spotted a ledge that they could climb to, they stopped to scale up together. Their engagement session was definitely adventurous!
As the sun was setting we headed to a pop up Christmas tree farm in East Nashville where they were selling pre-chopped trees. Santa’s Trees at night definitely created a cozy vibe, and the Christmas trees and hanging lights were the perfect touch for this winter engagement shoot.
Hannah and Tom are getting married in May of next year, and the thing they are looking forward to the most is having all of their family and friends together in Nashville to celebrate.
