Bridal portrait sessions are a Southern tradition I can get on board with! Bridal shoots are when a bride gets her hair and make up done and puts on her wedding dress for portraits before her actual wedding day. It’s not for everyone, but I love when my Nashville brides opt for this kind of session! Wedding day timelines can be hectic and leave little wiggle room for portraits, so having a bridal session before the wedding is perfect to capture all of your beautiful details!

We styled this Bridal Session at a chic and modern venue in Franklin. We kept the style simple- Sophie’s dress is timeless, so we didn’t want to take away from it by adding too many accessories or distractions. We incorporated 2 different bouquets and we had our bride wear her dress with and without a shawl, and with her hair up and down.

Fun fact- Sophie actually did her own hair and make up! She wore loose curls for one look, and put her hair up in a bun for her second look.
