Mini Sessions With Joy and Hunter

March 20, 2016

Sometimes you only have a few minutes for your photo session, but as long as you have a game plan ahead of time, you can make it work! We literally spent 10 minutes together, but I love the sweet moments I captured of Joy and Hunter together.

Tips and Tricks:

1. Know your poses! Go into the session with clear poses and positioning in mind, that way you aren’t wasting time in between shots!

2. Change your angles. We literally were under one tree for all the shots, but I changed my angles with the flowers and around J and H, so it switched up my frames!

3. Make sure your clients are relaxed! This is supposed to be fun and it’s supposed to capture their story. They need to be reminded that the pressure is off.

I love quick sessions! They are a challenge PLUS they make you feel super productive.

Here are some of my favorite moments with J and H.
