The first sentence on their brand questionnaire said, “Our business is FUN!” and from that moment on, I knew I was in for a ride. AR Workshop Mt. Juliet is a place where people can gather together for parties, team outings, engagements, or just a place to catch up with a friend. In addition to the quality time their customers get to spend together, they also get to go home with a beautiful and personal art creation. You can make just about anything at AR Workshop, and that’s what makes it so very fun.
Brand Photo and Marketing Goals
The two ladies behind AR Workshop Mt. Juliet are the mother-daughter team, Haley and Tina. AR Workshop Mt. Juliet is a franchise, so they had a little bit of a head start on content already. Wanting to stand out from the crowd, Haley and Tina wanted brand photos that were in line with their parent company, while maintaining individuality.
In addition to brand photos, this dynamic duo decided to partake in my Marketing Blueprint consulting and monthly Instagram grid creation to really up their marketing game. With their Marketing Blueprint consultation, Haley and Tina received:
- Social media content themes and hashtag blocks
- SEO keywords
- Blog categories and content ideas
- Pinterest set up and optimization
We did their digital marketing consulting prior to their Mt. Juliet commercial photography session so we would know exactly what kind of pictures and content they needed long-term.
Personal Branding Photoshoot Process
Much of our commercial photoshoot took place at AR Workshop’s local studio in Mt. Juliet, which is conveniently located near all sorts of shops for coffee & treats (perfect for their bring-your-own-food policy.) We wanted photos of Haley and Tina, of course, and also their AR Workshop team. When working with a place that does as much as AR Workshop, it’s important to cover a wide variety of what customers would typically see there. We showcased everything like their boutique selling local finds, birthday parties, date nights, team meetups, and more. We also wanted some detail photos of prepping supplies, the creation process, and finished DIY wood projects.
We also headed to Haley’s house to capture some lifestyle brand photos. Here we grabbed images of Haley and Tina working on admin tasks, styling items from the boutique in real life, and some personal photos for customers to get to know these ladies better. These photos would transition well into a lifestyle blog in the future for Haley.
The Results
After getting their photos back, AR Workshop decided to hire me for monthly Instagram grid creation. I came up with this service because I’ve seen business owners react in one of two ways after receiving brand photos:
- They love the photos but try to “save them up” for the perfect post, letting them sit in a folder on their computer, unused.
- They are so excited to use their brand photos that they bombard their followers with 1 or more a day and end up repeating them over and over.
THERE’S A BETTER WAY! With my monthly grid creation service, I curate your brand photos into a grid each month, and provide you with daily caption prompts, based on content themes we brainstorm together. All you have to do next is fill in the prompt, and post!
Haley and Tina have been using this service since September of 2020, and I’ve loved getting to see their grid get better each month! AR Workshop is a place where people gather together to create beautiful things, and I’m so grateful to be a part of this business’ story!
