Daniel and Shelby- The View at Fountains Murfreesboro Wedding

I was so excited to capture the magic of Daniel and Shelby’s wedding at The View at Fountains in Murfreesboro, a gorgeous new venue! Every detail was perfect, from cute matching robes for Shelby and her bridesmaids to wear while getting ready to Shelby’s adorable sparkly Kate Spade Keds. There were also a couple of really sweet family heirlooms incorporated into Shelby’s bridal look. She had buttons from her sister’s wedding dress, as well as buttons from her mom’s dress and her grandmother’s dress sewn onto her own wedding dress. I’ve never seen that done and absolutely love the sentimental detail! The beautiful necklace Shelby wore was made from a diamond from her mom’s original engagement ring, and her mom and sister wore matching necklaces. Too sweet!

The ceremony décor included beautifully simple sprigs of eucalyptus hung on the chairs and featured a breathtaking round arch handmade by the groom, Daniel, and decorated with lovely white florals and greenery. After they were officially husband and wife, Shelby and Daniel chose to leave their ceremony with a bubble exit, which was so cute! Then it was time to join guests for a classy and understated reception to celebrate. The reception décor included beautiful table runners (made my Shelby’s mom!), candles, greenery, and a gorgeous wedding cake with real flower details. The neutral color palette with pops of sage green was just perfect. I loved the bridesmaids’ dresses and the subtle color in the groomsmen’s ties!

Every element of Shelby and Daniel’s wedding was personalized and thoughtful. Shelby danced her first dance with her dad to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” which was a fun nod to the time she spent working at Disney World. Shelby and Daniel met through The Roadies, a Nashville SC Supporters Group. She paid tribute to the club with a Roadies pin on her bouquet. Their Roadies friends also played key roles in their wedding—their officiant is a member and their DJ is the president of the club. At one point at the reception, all of the Roadies members surrounded the newlyweds and chanted some of the Roadies chants, changed to include Shelby and Daniel’s names. It was awesome! There was no shortage of fun for guests either. Shelby and Daniel had fat heads for guests to take hilarious photos with and even had putt-putt golf for guests to play on the porch! Needless to say, everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Phillips!
