The last year of high school is such a big deal for those preparing to graduate. I recently had the best time with Emmalee for her senior photo session, celebrating this milestone!
A fun fact, I took Emmalee’s sister’s senior pictures in November of 2016. Emmalee has been planning her session ever since! Emmalee and her Mom travelled to Nashville from Michigan for this fun milestone! It was special to me, as a Nashville senior session photographer, that they would travel all that way.
It was a fun, fanciful session as we visited several photo sites to get the perfect shots. The first stop was Hewitt Garden and Design Center. Hewitt is an indoor greenhouse with beautiful plants all around. From there we moved on to the the Soda Parlor in East Nashville. Emmalee loved the shakes and the retro games! Next stop was the Gulch – a must for getting pictures with some of Nashville’s best murals! And finally we finished off with iconic downtown Nashville senior pictures with the skyline behind Emmalee on the Pedestrian Bridge.
Emmalee looks adorable in all her senior photos! You could tell that she was enjoying her time in Nashville by the smile on her face. That’s why a senior photo session is so important. It is the perfect way to celebrate the student and everything that makes them unique! I love working with my senior girls to incorporate their style and find ways to showcase things that they are passionate about. I also prioritize choosing a location (or a few) that is significant to them! Lots of outfit changes and moving from stop to stop was part of the process in getting great pictures for Emmalee.
