I love working with Claire from White Ink Calligraphy for her personal branding photos! We do sessions seasonally, so Claire always has a gallery full of images to choose from! We’ve done creative headshots and general branding, as well as holiday product photography. This time around we chose to do a branding session to feature her “behind the scenes” work and relationships with her vendors and clients.

Claire invited several friends to join us for this session. Philip, who often helps her with drop offs and deliveries, came so we could capture him transporting her rentals. One of her clients who is getting married also joined us so we could stage some pictures of Claire showing her different ink and writing options and inventory. I love when businesses choose to incorporate others in their personal branding photo session because it can help convey who your ideal client is and how you serve them.

We also made sure to still get some perfect shots of Claire in her home office with all her rentals and go-to calligraphy products like her globes and wooden cut outs. Her sweet dog, Remy, obviously made an appearance once again! When you’re a small business owner, it can be a game changer to plan a branding session that conveys the behind the scenes of what you do. Claire is the face of White Ink Calligraphy, but this session is a good way to introduce other part-time team members to her followers. A session like this also gives her a chance to show and explain what the process is to work with her.
