Elevate Consulting booked a branding session because they wanted images that convey the professional and relational aspects of their Nashville small business. We had so much fun shooting in two different office spaces and a donut shop. This resulted in plenty of gorgeous photos for their professional needs and social media feeds!

 

Discovery & Session Goals

Branding photography that is done well requires a bit of homework. I have to get to know my client on a fairly deep level- from their unique business identity to how they want to engage with customers and be perceived by potential clients. I start with a thorough questionnaire and call in order to understand the goals for each individual client. 

Elevate Consulting, founded by three former corporate office mates, works primarily with mission-driven and service organizations, and their work with their clients is largely relational. Their main goal was to obtain images that would educate and inspire their audience, while demonstrating how approachable they are while operating in a relaxed, yet highly professional, environment.

 

The Process

We chose to shoot at three different locations including a home office where the women do much of their day-to-day work, a corporate office space, and East Park Donuts & Coffee. I loved being able to use each unique setting to capture different elements of their work and personalities! Small business branding sessions need to show both the professional and personal sides of a business, so versatile venues are key. 

 

The Results

I absolutely love the relatable and professional vibes from this shoot! They ended up with photos showing them hard at work, surrounded with sticky notes and data while clearly working easily together. These pictures inspire trust and authority in their professional skills, paired with a comfortable ease that is evident throughout their images. 

At the home office, I was able to get some flat lay photos of paper products and books that they specifically wanted for social media. And the fun donut shop images do a perfect job of showing their potential clients that they both work hard and play hard! Who doesn’t love a consultant who knows their way around a spreadsheet and a delicious donut? 

Hannah, Jessica, and Amy, the ladies behind Elevate Consulting, walked away from our session with enough content to fill up their website and social media feeds. But even more than that, they now have engaging branding images and headshots that directly communicate the style, personality, and priorities of their Nashville small business to their client base.
