So many of my first-time personal branding session clients are amazed at how much they truly get out of a branding photo shoot. It’s so much more than a few updated headshots!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Tiffany White, a Franklin-based realtor who uses her exceptional knowledge of real estate and the greater Nashville area to help her clients find, and close on, their dream homes. Tiffany originally imagined her photos in a park or greenspace, but after consulting with her I suggested we take our Franklin branding session inside. We chose a gorgeous model home which resulted in some pretty fabulous photos! I also worked closely with Tiffany to help her pick out outfits that would photograph well in the space so she would feel prepared and confident when she stepped in front of the camera. I always encourage clients to bring along some purposeful props as well. For Tiffany, this meant finding a “home sweet home” sign in her brand’s colors, which resulted in some truly personalized shots that will stand out beautifully on her website.
When a branding session is done well, you should walk away with a few months’ worth of social media content. Imagine spending an hour or two with me, some well-chosen props, and the perfect location, and leaving with content for dozens of Instagram, Facebook, or blog posts. Just look at Tiffany’s personal branding session! I took photos of her in front of a beautiful home and posing in different rooms, as well as plenty of shots of interior decorations, beautiful flowers on the kitchen island, and wine. We can incorporate your personal interests and hobbies, as well as the items that interest your audience, so you end up with professional photos that represent you, your business, and your target audience.
Here is what Tiffany had to say about her experience of working with a brand photographer:
I worked with Mandy Liz Photography on a branding shoot for my business. I’ve never invested in much more than a head shot to represent myself and my business, so I was a bit nervous. Mandy had a great way of preparing me for the shoot! She helped me choose two dresses and props in advance of the photo shoot. I felt very ready and remarkably relaxed on the day of the photo shoot. I couldn’t be more pleased with the images and it’s wonderful to have more than just one or two head shots to use for print and social media marketing!
