I loved working with Lauren from Blush and Honey Paper for her personal branding session at her home studio. As a personal branding photographer it is always fun for me to see where the magic happens for others! I love photographing branding sessions at my clients’ home offices and in home studios (especially when they are this pretty)!
Lauren is a watercolor artist with a soft spot for animals! She specializes in painting pet portraits and each purchase helps feed a pet in need! If you have followed me for a while then you know I am completely obsessed with my dogs. So it was no surprise that I was instantly drawn to Lauren’s beautiful art!
A lot of people automatically think of headshots when they hear others talk about personal branding photos. But a branding session can be whatever you want to make it! We can create images that are professional, fun and playful, inviting, calming, classy… the list goes on! Some clients require consistent imagery for social media and some need quality photos for their website. No matter where the need, I capture an array of images for each client to have at their fingertips, ready to roll, the next time they click to upload an image.
For Lauren we chose to capture headshots in her office, lifestyle images of her working, her bright and colorful work space, the tools she uses to paint, and the finished products! Since she is a creative entrepreneur, her headshots are more casual and fun than a corporate look. Her office shows off her personality and art, so I wanted her pictures to show that side of her as well. I love the props Lauren incorporated into this shoot. The paint brushes, watercolor palettes, and big oversized canvases were perfect ways to tie in her work into her pictures.
