Seth and Grace
Bellwood Chapel

THE WEDDING DAY
The Woffords got married this past weekend at Bellwood Chapel in Lebanon, TN. The historic church from 1908 has been turned into a full service wedding and event venue. It was the perfect setting for this sweet wedding!
Grace and the ladies got ready at the chapel. The girls lounged around in their matching blue robes as they did their hair and make up and enjoyed mimosas. I loved photographing Grace’s wedding details. She put so much thought into the items and her wedding had the most perfect sentimental and personal touches because of it! The bride’s veil and the sleeves on her gown were handmade by her grandmother. She also wore earrings handmade by her mom. Grace made sure to have something old – a bonnet around her bouquet, something new – her veil, something borrowed – her cake topper and a pearl ring she wore on her finger, and something blue – her gorgeous high heels!
The bride and groom chose to exchange gifts the morning of their wedding. Grace surprised Seth with his late grandfather’s watch and a pocket square made out of one of his shirts. The sweetest detail is that she took his signature from Seth’s 1st birthday card and engraved his grandfather’s handwriting into the pocket square! Grace had the biggest smile on her face when she opened her gift from Seth and realized it was a digital camera! She really wanted one to take on their honeymoon!
Grace chose to have a “reveal” with her friends and bridesmaids, so she put her dress on privately and then stepped out to see all of their reactions! It was so fun to see her family and friends celebrate with her and get excited before the ceremony! She also chose to have a first look with her dad so he could see her in her gown for the first time without anyone around. You may need tissues when you get to those photos because they are the sweetest!
Seth and Grace were married inside the chapel by a family friend, Ross- he is the youth pastor at their church. They’ve known him for 13 years, which made the ceremony even more special! My favorite detail from their ceremony is that they had a wooden cross covered in yellow and white flowers from their guests. Grace and Seth chose to start their marriage with the act of worship, and they invited their guests to join them as they sang “Lord, I need You”! It was a beautiful ceremony to witness, and Grace had the biggest smile the entire time!
I love seeing when brides get creative with their wedding decor! Grace made all the wedding favors, her wedding invitations, the signs placed around her venue, the pieces on her reception tables, and more! I was so impressed by how great everything looked! She chose dusty blue and pale yellow as her wedding colors, so everything had that same color palette intertwined.
I loved seeing the couple’s family and friends enjoying the reception! Grace and her dad shared a tender moment during their first dance to “Butterfly Kisses”. Grace’s mom and sister were tearing up on the side of the dance floor as they watched. Seth and his mom also totally made me cry as they emotionally swayed their way through their dance – guys, it was the sweetest! The church band then surprised Grace and Seth with their rendition of “Shallow”! The night wrapped up with a gold foil wand exit after dark!
I loved photographing this wedding and I hope you enjoy these previews! Scroll through to see some of my favorite moments from Seth and Grace’s Lebanon wedding day!
