I had the privilege of photographing Derrick and Ashley’s intimate destination wedding last weekend at Iriswoods wedding venue in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

Ashley and Derrick were married on the front lawn of Iriswoods in front of their family members. The couple and their families traveled from Indiana and Ohio, so Nashville was a central location for everyone! I absolutely love how joyful Ashley is in her wedding pictures while they were exchanging vows and their rings.

Ashley and Derrick’s ceremony was short and sweet, and it left us with plenty of time for bride and groom portraits behind the Iriswoods house by the barn! Iriswoods has a gorgeous field that we used as a backdrop for their wedding pictures.

My favorite details from this wedding are the balloon, corsage, and sign that Ashley sat on a seat in memory of her mom. It was a really sweet and touching gesture to honor her. Below you can find some of my other favorite moments from this sweet Tennessee elopement.
