Carmillia and Steven will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary this month, and it made me realize that I never got their wedding up on the blog! This is past due, but they were the sweetest couple and I loved photographing their Catholic wedding ceremony and Latin wedding reception at GranDale Manor in Nashville.
Carmillia and Steven got married at St. Ignatius of Antioch and they had a traditional Catholic ceremony in front of their family and friends. After the ceremony, they headed to GranDale Manor for appetizers inside the mansion and a tented reception.
Carmillia wore a gorgeous detailed gown and a floor length veil that her mother made for her. I love the picture of her mom helping her clip the veil into her hair! Carmillia’s bridesmaids wore baby blue dresses, and all the ladies held white bouquets.
My favorite part of Carmillia and Steven’s reception was when their friends and family did speeches and toasted with the newlyweds! They had their first dance a few minutes later, and they slow danced to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.
You can see highlights of the wedding day below!
