This boudoir session is perfect inspiration for brides looking to do a simple and natural boudoir shoot. We shot at Beech Grove Historic Venue in Nashville, TN since Beech Grove is full of character and has a unique charm that is unmatched.
Tayler wore beautiful lace pieces, like a blue body suit from Aerie, a white bralette with a matching bottom, and a peach bodysuit. Her hair was whimsically braided with loose waves and wispy hairs framing her face.
We set up two photo areas- a repurposed corn shed and a barn. We brought in a mattress to the barn and adorned it with white linens and a grey blanket. We laid it directly on the floor and scattered fresh cherry blossom blooms and honeysuckle leaves that were pruned a few hours before the shoot from Beech Grove’s land. We also lit some candles and added two real birds nest to our set to play into our earthy and organic vibe.
Our second set is in Beech Grove’s corn shed. It is a simple, yet stunning little building that is currently used as a Bridal Suite for weddings. The corn shed is very natural, and there is even a vine from a tree weaving in and out of the front of the shed. We felt this was a perfect location for our boudoir shoot, because boudoir is stripped down and bare, and Beech Grove Historic Venue has the perfect touch of nature to it.
